Cresus, \u00e9galement connu sous le nom de Cr\u00e9sus de Lydie, a v\u00e9cu dans la r\u00e9gion antique d’Asie mineure pendant l’\u00e9poque archa\u00efque ( VIIIe si\u00e8cle av. J.-C.). Bien que les d\u00e9tails https:\/\/cresus-casino.eu.com\/<\/a> biographiques sur Cresus soient relativement rares, ses aventures et son influence ont inspir\u00e9 des mythes et des l\u00e9gendes qui se sont perp\u00e9tu\u00e9s dans la litt\u00e9rature grecque antique. <\/p>\n

La premi\u00e8re mention de Cr\u00e9sus remonte \u00e0 l’histoire perse de H\u00e9rodote, un auteur du VIe si\u00e8cle av. J.-C. Selon cet historien, Cresus est le dernier roi d’une lign\u00e9e qui r\u00e8gne sur la ville-\u00c9tat de Lydie en Asie mineure depuis plusieurs g\u00e9n\u00e9rations. Les sources anciennes mentionnent que Cresus a cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 affaiblir la puissance de l’Empire perse. En 546 av. J.-C., il lancera une attaque surprise contre le roi perse M\u00e8d\u00e9, appuy\u00e9 par les forces militaires lydiennes et un contingent grec (celui-ci est discut\u00e9 dans d’autres \u00e9crits anciens). Bien que les d\u00e9tails historiques sur Cresus soient relativement rares, son nom a \u00e9t\u00e9 captur\u00e9 dans diverses l\u00e9gendes grecques. <\/p>\n

Un exemple c\u00e9l\u00e8bre est le mythe d’Alcm\u00e8ne et de H\u00e9racl\u00e8s (ou Hercule) racont\u00e9 par l’auteur Diodore de Sicile du Ier si\u00e8cle av. J.-C.). Selon ce r\u00e9cit, Cr\u00e9sus a \u00e9t\u00e9 consult\u00e9 pour d\u00e9terminer son futur : la sorci\u00e8re Tiresias aurait affirm\u00e9 que le jeune Hercule serait roi d’une \u00eele lointaine. <\/p>\n
